When in the Nineties Slovene cinematography experienced a renaissance, Drago Ivanuša began working with film directors (Janez Burger, Jan Cvitkovič, Damjan Kozole), helping them create a number of internationally awarded films. He has written music for 23 films and has received two Vesna awards for best music at the Slovenian film festival (2004 and 2010) and Zlata ptica for achievements in the filed of theater and film music (1999). Film Bread and Milk (directed by Jan Cvitkovič) received the Golden Lion of the Future at the 2001 Venice film festival. Now Ivanuša also works with the younger generation of film directors.
